Genres: Creative non-fiction/memoir/essays, fiction (all genres except horror), self-help, some academic, but no children's books or poetry. Christina’s focus is on providing supportive encouragement and feedback. She has worked as an editor in newspapers and book publishing and has been a professional writer for twenty-five years.

Bio: Christina Myers is an award-winning writer, freelance editor and former journalist. She is the author of two books––Halfway Home and The List of Last Chances––and was the creator and editor of two non-fiction anthologies. Her writing has appeared in dozens of newspapers, magazines, journals, and anthologies. She was longlisted for the Leacock Medal for literary humour, twice shortlisted for the Fred Kerner Book Prize, and is a two-time winner of the Canadian Book Club Awards; her books have been on most-anticipated lists with Quill & Quire, 49th Shelf, and Shrapnel Magazine.
She teaches fiction and non-fiction at SFU, and starting in January 2027 will be a mentor with the Writer’s Studio program there. She is represented by literary agent Meg Wheeler at Westwood Creative Artists, and lives with her husband, two teenagers, and four rescue cats just outside Vancouver, BC.
